HiveTerm ("we", "our", "us") is a desktop application developed and maintained by its creator. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
When you activate a Pro license, we collect:
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, bank details, or any payment credentials. Stripe's privacy policy applies to all payment data. See stripe.com/privacy.
HiveTerm does not collect telemetry, usage analytics, crash reports, or any data about how you use the application. The app runs entirely on your machine.
Our website (hiveterm.com) is a static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard web server logs (IP address, browser user agent, pages visited) as part of their infrastructure. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics.
License data is stored securely in Cloudflare Workers KV, a globally distributed key-value store. License tokens are signed with Ed25519 cryptography and validated offline on your machine. Your license token is cached locally at ~/.hiveterm/license.token.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Data is only shared with:
License activation records are retained for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days after expiration. If you request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days.

HiveTerm is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of HiveTerm after changes constitutes acceptance.
